Just Climate, started by Generation Investment Management, has launched its first private market fund – Climate Assets Fund I – raising $1.5 billion from global investors. The fund supports the transition to a net-zero world by investing in powerful climate solutions that traditional investors often ignore.

The fund focuses on “hard-to-abate” industries like energy, transport, buildings, and heavy industry – the biggest sources of global emissions. These sectors are crucial for deep decarbonization, and the fund aims to help cut emissions enough to keep global warming below 1.5°C.
