“Eventyr i Parken” (“Adventures in the Park”) is a theater company established in 2018 with a goal of creating outdoors theater experiences for a young audience. Our plays are interactive – the audience follows the characters along on the journey, and helps out with various tasks in order to get the story to develop. Our wandering-theatre shows are based on known fairytales as well as new stories inspired by Bergen’s history and written by the company members, who all have different backgrounds in the film and theatre industry and work actively in the field. We have explored many kinds of landscapes: parks, forests, playgrounds, streets and mountain tops, but our base is Nygårdsparken in Bergen, where we have played once a month for the past 3,5 years. With the support of Grieg Foundation we will be ably to carry on with the project “Vanreteater in Nygårdsparken” and invite our audience to 5 new shows in the fall of 2022.
