Children's Program – Bergen Pride

Who: Bergen Pride

What:
A special program for children, families, and youth.

Where: Bergen

Project period:
2024

Web: Bergen Pride

About the project:

This year, Bergen Pride is launching a new arena, Mini Pride. A special program for children, families, and youth.

Mini Pride aims to provide children, families, and people who work with children increased knowledge about gender and sexual diversity. We will highlight family diversity, show children that they can be who they are, allow children to meet others who are like them, and enable families, guardians, and caregivers to network with others.

The program offers activities for children and youth of all age groups. There will be fun activities, art, cultural contributions, and exploration of personal creative sides and interests in an inclusive and safe environment.

About the organization:

Bergen Pride is the Norwegian west coast's largest visibility event for gender and sexual diversity and is held every year from the first Saturday in June. The program lasts for a week and consists of a series of events focusing on queer art, culture, politics, and themes. In addition to Pride House, Pride Park and the pride parade, we are cooperating on many events spread around in the city during that week
