Forandringshuset V13 is a powerhouse for youth culture and prevention work in Bergen city center. The goal is to make culture in the form of music and dance more accessible to young people in Bergen. To achieve this, it is desirable to establish a drug-free cultural scene for young people as part of the work at Nedre Korskirkeallmenningen 4. In close dialogue with the youth, various events will be initiated based on the needs and wishes of the target group. At Forandringshuset V13 there is currently both a dance hall and music room. These are very popular rooms that are used both by young people on their own initiative and for various workshops.

The target group is adolescents and young adults aged 13-25 years. The primary target group is young people aged 15-19 years. It's open to everyone in that age group, but with a particular focus on reaching those of us who are affected by various forms of exclusion. Music and dance can be carried out regardless of language and background, and is a unique opportunity to create an inclusive and safe community where everyone is equal. An arena will be created for young people both in the performance of music and dance, planning of large events, setting up a stage, and the technicalities surrounding such an event as sound and light production. The cultural scene may also be used to arrange concerts and performances with established artists and artists.

This project will contribute to a good inclusion of target groups that often fall outside society's ordinary cultural offerings. Cultural activities are expensive to attend, both as audience members at various events and as participants in courses and workshops. Many of those we meet in the target group are passionate about music and dance, but have nowhere to practice this. Through this project, we want to makecultural offerings more accessible to young people. By purchasing the necessary equipment, it will create an arena where young people with different backgrounds and prerequisites get a community through music and dance.
