About the organization
Fyllingsdalen Theatre is the country's largest grassroots organization for young performing artists, with a total of 900 children and youth. We will continue to provide a safe haven for those who do not find their place in other activities, school life, or other environments, while also promoting and supporting the youth who wish to commit to culture and further develop their skills within their field. Our main focus is on performing arts and circus activities, but we also delve into other areas such as short film production, dance, singing, and music.
About the project
At Fyllingsdalen Theatre, an artistic foundation, we are best known for our theater productions for children and young people, both in our own building and at other venues. We usually have four to five main productions a year, where we play for up to 25,000 people in total. In addition, we have a theater school for children aged five and up to our adult groups, with around 700 members, and a circus school for children and young people with around 200 members. We also hold our own talent development productions, where we focus on process and on strengthening our own abilities, whether as a performer or as a fresh director, choreographer, technician, costume designer or another function in the team. In 2024, we have several large projects underway that will be of great importance to our members
