Grieg International Choir Festival and NINA Solo Competition– for young voices was established in 2005, and now we are ready for the 10th Griegfestival. We are looking forward to welcome choirs and singers to Bergen Bergen/Norway, September 26 – 29, 2024. Together we create memorable days for the future.

The choirs; local, national, and international, will join our festival in a program celebrating the art of singing in choir competitions and concerts. The competition is open to amateur choirs (children and youth choirs as well as adult choirs) in 8 different categories.

NINA Solo Competition is a vocal competition open for all for young and talented singers between 15 and 24 years. The contestants will sing pieces from the classical tradition. This competition is a good experience for future generations of professional singers.

The festival has earned a good international reputation in the choir world with a high level in the jury with Internationally acclaimed experts. Grieghallen is the main venue for the festival, but also churches and other concert venues as Troldsalen and Håkonshallen are used for concerts.
