About the project:

Cornerteateret is not just a theater; it is also a central part of the vibrant city life in Bergen. Located on Marineholmen, a thriving district experiencing strong growth, we expand urban space and create a natural meeting point for locals and visitors. Our presence enriches the area, particularly during the summer months with our outdoor seating and proximity to the city beach. We are part of a symbiosis with the surrounding area, serving as a hub where creativity and culture converge in the heart of the city.

With a high volume of foot traffic, they offer cultural activities for all age groups. They will organize concerts, outdoor performances, Midsummer celebration, and outdoor cinema screenings from the beginning of the summer break until the end of August. All events are free of charge. It is the mission of Cornerteateret to serve as a meeting point.

Cornerteateret is a vibrant theater that serves as a creative melting pot and a fruitful collaboration between the professional and volunteer performing arts sectors. We provide opportunities for participants in the field to develop as organizers and producers of high-quality events in collaboration with us.
