Through socially inclusive dance and music related activities, “Jungelen Ung” or JUNG offers a platform and open space for young people between 13-26. With a focus on dance, fun, expression and inclusion, Jungelen Ung works to combat loneliness and prejudice.

JUNG was started by Simon Alejandro in 2019. He is a social entrepreneur and a freelance DJ, rapper and event organizer who wants to give young people a kickstart and guidance to get where they need to be.

The goal of his commitment is to bring young people together and introduce them to the world of dance and music, to show young people that art, culture and dance is a possible career path.

Why dance and young people?

For many young people, dance is a way to communicate and express themselves. The Jung dance community is founded in mutual respect and an openness to different cultures. They want to communicate non-commercial art genres, to introduce young people to lesser known art and culture.

“It is amazing to see the positive effect our projects have on young people. Jung is a free space where young people can meet, dance, create new collaborations and friendships.”

- Simon Alejandro, Founder
